Jenn teaches at Mustard Seed Music & Arts Academy in Clinton, Michigan, the school she runs. Classes being offered:

Writing & Illustrating Children’s Books

Age 16+ · six weeks · taught by Jenn

An inspiring six-week course that guides you through creating your very own children’s story, from concept to illustrated page. You’ll learn the fundamentals of writing for young readers — memorable characters, strong narrative structure, and writing with rhythm and heart — with supportive peer and instructor feedback along the way. A hands-on art component teaches simple illustration, page-layout design, and pairing images with text to bring your story to life. Just bring a pencil, a notebook, and your imagination — all other supplies provided. No prior writing or art experience necessary.

Teen Writing Group

Ages 13–18 · weekly · two groups, one for homeschool students

Are you a teen storyteller, poet, or aspiring author ready to level up your writing? Each weekly session features hands-on writing exercises, helpful peer critiques, and craft talks to sharpen your storytelling.

Class dates and enrollment are handled through the Academy.
